Pre-birthday present

I was sent to my vet for a check-up as when I get excited will have a whieezing effect.

This was my report from Dr Craig:

" Hana has had an anesthetic today to check the back of her mouth to ensure there is no cause of the respiratory noise present. the only abnormality is enlarged tonsils which have prolapsed out of the crypts. The likely cause for this and her noise is allergic as her soft palate is the perfect size and there is no inflammation in her pharynx. We have flushed out her nasal cavities to ensure there is nothing present to cause irritation.
I think she will get over this problem fine, but it may be something that we have to settle down from time to time. I would like to put her on anti inflammatory for a week to see if we can resolve the problem. "

Dog's Spa

I got pampered today. Went to a dog's spa at Moonee Ponds for a longer shower, fur cut and nails done. It was a crowded place which the groomers are all girls....there are so many small and big dogs. They have trim the fur behind my ears, cut my nails....and even trim the fur near my tummy and further down..hehehe.which I will call this bikini waxing. Luckily they only trip abit on my bushy tail which I always use it to attract pretty girls. You can see at the below picture whereby my tummy is now exposed and I LOOK LIKE A COW from below. Moo..mooo..roof roof. I think they put some perfume on me as dad and mum can't stop smelling me all over. Who is the dog now...? Roof...

Visit by Grand Pa & Ma

I have family members flown down from Singapore to visit me. It was my grand pa & ma. Mum told me that after so many years of persuading they have decided to come down to Melbourne and enjoy the cold weather. I had a great week with them..and most of all I get to sneak on to the bed with mum and dad. I even slept in between both of them...almost got squash by dad...but it was my fault too as I try to hide underneath the blanket. Tell you what...mum has book an appointment for me to have my first hair cut this weekend. I will keep you posted again.

Another operation

I have another operation on my previous wound on de-sex there is a suture reaction = skin having reaction with the stitches. Therefore they have to cut away those skin and re stitch with a different material. Well..it means I have a 5cm stitches near my stomach and have to put on the stupid lamp shade. Anyway, there is a picture of the new operating theater where I had my surgery and also my 5cm wound.

Vaccination & Desexing (Final)

I have completed my last stage of my desexing by removing the stitches on Monday. I even ask mum to take a picture of Dr Craig and me together so that I can show you how handsome he is….kekeke. I have a lump on my back of my neck with Dr Craig said that it might be the after effect from the vaccination injection. In the end, the have to use a needle to poke it and squeeze out all the unwanted fluid...yucks...

Vaccination & Desexing (Part 3)

Check out my lamp shade to stop me from licking and chewing my stitches….they sure look ridiculous and out of fashion…why not have some colours so that I look more elegant. Anyway, I found out that this lamp shade is made from Germany and not China….”surprise”….hehehe.. It took me a while to get use to it as for the first few days I knock into cabinet, kitty litter and of course it took me a few times to go into my crate as I have to make sure the lamp shade fit right through the door.

Vaccination & Desexing (Part 2)

I’m recovering from my desexing operation. Here is the picture of the stitches near my spotted tummy. You can also see on the other picture, I was shaved on my front legs so that I get some drip to help me to recover from the surgery faster. Now I have to wait for my fur to grow back as it looks a bit bare.
Well…maybe either this weekend or early next week I will get the stitches remove by my favorite Vet Dr Craig.

Vaccination & Desexing (Part 1)

Today is an important chapter of my doggie life....I received my final vaccination and desexing. Dad and mum taken a day off to sent me my usual handsome vet Dr Craig at the South Melbourne. Hehehe before going there, we actually took a pit stop at the new Krisp Creme shop (Corner of Spencer and Collins St) which just opened this morning at 6am. We bought a dozen of the assorted donuts for my doctor. I was so happy to see Thomas the cat till I let off wee wee on the floor.......kekeke...

Check out my vaccination and desexing certificate ......which give me the rights to go around the park sniff other doggies bum bum...etc...don't want to go into more details of that..hehe I also been desexing early to prevent any unwanted pregnancy with those desperado or one night stand boyfriend out there.

A walk to docklands on a Sunday morning. You can see how tiny I am compare to my daddy. It was tiring but after the body scrub on the grass make me fresh and dirty..haha In the end, mum have to give me a shower.

Chewy should be my nick

Hi All....Sorry for not posting this blog for a few weeks. Daddy was away most of the time and I can't access to the internet without him. Anyway, I have been keeping myself very busy playing with the toys. You can see with the pics, the bunny has lost his 2 legs and luckily I am no interest of my brother "Poo Poo" the loopy ear rabbit. The stuffing from the squeaky cushion has all been pull out from a tiny hole. I am really a chewy dog which was my nick name from the breeder.

Just another yummy day

I am sure that my tummy is feeling 110% okay now. Have been eating a lot especially the lamb and rice roll that my dad say it smells like a big sausage!! Of course, the output of my daily meal also smell good haha which he has to clean many times a day..Hahaha.. Can you see the pic...I am looking for more food...but actually it turn out to be a camera.

I have been very naughty too as I have this strange habit of playing in kitty litter tray till he has to sweep and clean the floor everyday. But it is no fun to me at all as as I am been locked in the crate while he is clean the floor. So no chasing of the little blue brush!!

I also heard dad calling my elder brother poo poo the loopy rabbit very fat. I saw him the other day as he must be about 4~5kg now..Fat rabbit....

Okay time for another doodoo for my dad..hahaha woof..

So the 2 weeks I will be alone with my daddy. hehe at least he is not going away as he always give me my meals.
I have to go eat my dinner now so that I can sit down on daddy lap to watch the national day parade..Hooray.

FBI Training

Oh boy...this is a FBI training posting. Well, from the pictures you know that I am training very hard...keke eating my food. I got to train how to pee and poo on my kitty litter tray. Well, I started off on the newspaper till I realise that the tray is actually for me to do my business. From there, I have been always using the kitty litter tray. But every now and then I still do it on the newspaper trying to get attention.

Day out to Queen Victoria Market

I'm a happy puppy today as I have a day out to Queen Victoria Market with Daddy and Mummy. I was back at pet shop at F Shed for a visit with Kelly and Janet. Kelly try to cut my nails but I was too excited to see her which she only manage to cut one of my paws. I got a few presents from Kelly, two rope toys and a plush doggy for me to chew. I even have a FBI top...hehe which I wear it straight away and patrol the market on the groceries trolley. Must be the FBI top that I am wearing which got the attention of people walking pass me and they want to pat me....oh yes oh yes... When they found out that I am a Border collie and Chihuahua cross they are shocked! How did that happen.... What the..?? I also saw a lot of doggies at the market but I can't sniff them yet as I got to wait for my second vaccination injection.

Oh yeah...I got doo doo

Yesterday, I have doo doo and they are firm. It must the anti-biotic that is being force down my throat every morning and night time. Luckily it is only half a pill, and 2 more pills to go.... I have to thank Dr Craig, Chrissie and Thomas for looking after me. I still have to eat chicken and rice can food till I finish two cans of it.

I spent the whole morning by myself at home till daddy came back home for lunch. I was sitting on this lap seeing him eating toasted ham/cheese/tomato sandwich and a packet of Mamee...I kept drooling..But he just finish it in a few bites and left none for me. After he left, I was all alone again with my toys which I will try to post more about it when I have time..hehe.

Mummy even pick me up and take me to daddy office. Wow...I get to meet all those colleague of his but I'm only interested in that noisy photocopying machine. Spent a good 1 hr there looking around..laughing at people doing work and I am playing with mummy phone mobile strap. Breakfast time...got to go....woof woof..

3 Nights Chalet

Hi All, sorry for not posting my blog for the past few days as I just came back from my $250++ 3 nights chalet at the South Melbourne Vet. I was sent back to the vet on Monday night again as I didn't eat the whole day and was having diarrhea all day long. Well I was so happy to see my handsome vet Dr Craig and friend Thomas (the cat).

Dr Craig decided to give me an X-ray to see if I have eaten any objects that I shouldn't be putting in my mouth which will block at my intenstine. The result of the X-ray only shows that my tummy and intenstine are full of gas pockets which my parents are complaining my fart stinks. Dr Craig have a feel on my tummy and discover that my intestine are quite tight. After all the pressing encourage me to doo doo on this table...haha this is what I call fresh sample. He use my poo to test for "Pavro" but I was negative. He then decide for me to stay over night so that they can monitor and check it further why I am having diarrhea.

In the end, I have spent 3 nights at the vet and just returned to home tonight. I was given anti-biotics and was whining till they have to put Thomas with me the whole of yesterday.I will try to post my X-ray once I received from the Dr Craig.

MC Today

I have MC today due to having diarrhea for the past few days till today it was really bad. I was basically so tired and sleepy. I was rush to the vet and force to stay in my big brother's carry bag through out the whole journey to South Melbourne. The tram ride and the swinging motion of the bag make me puke twice like the Singapore merlion.

Then when I was at the vet, everything was okay till I felt something long and cold poking my butt "yahoooooee" It was just a device call thermometer who is use to measure body temperature. At least they should warm it up and lubricated it with KY. Anyway I also had a de-worm pill push down into throat by the vet. "What the" kept being poke by this vet call Dr Craig but at least he is handsome...Woof woof..even got his mobile number.

I was basically fine. It was my stomach getting confuse by the change in food and now have to stick to this yummy chicken & rice can food. Hopefully I will get better tomorrow.
